Okay now that I have had time to recoup from the emotional attack from this series I can finally write the review that is needed to be written. Where to start, I loved this book, I loved this series and I am absolutely devastated at how much I am missing reading more on these characters. This is the 3rd book in the Devil Series and it was to me the worst with regards to emotional headache and loss. There was so much going on in this book that you just couldn't figure out what would happen next. I was on my seat and seriously wanted to throw my Kindle across the room several times because I couldn't take the pain or I was angry with a character and their choices. There is a lot of trust issues with me in this book for some characters and I just knew that I was going to be right on at least one! Lucien and Eve are a beautiful pair, the fight they put together, the emotions they share and the strength they use to help each other and others around them is so amazing. You feel so much from each character because that is how great the writing is. I seriously was drained after reading all three books. I know that it will be awhile before I even look at re-reading these books, that is how much that is how much these books affected me emotionally. If you have not read this series or anything by this author you are completely missing out! Just be prepared to not be able to put the books down, to cry and laugh and throw things (try to not let it be your kindle, lol). You are in for an amazing roller coaster of emotions, actions and never ending compassion!!! The only down side to this series is the way the last book ended!! I need more (don't let that last sentence keep you from reading the series though)!!!Product details

Sharing the turmoil experience d by Eve and Lucien takes this reading experience to a deeper level. The twists and turns, wondering is Eve will find a way to avoid her fate and Boaz keeps you turning page after page. If anyone deserves a happily ever after it's Eve and Lucien. I love this series and look forward to the next book.
I loved the 1st book and couldn't put it down. I liked the second book but was a little disappointed with the heroin's lack of maturity. By the time I was a quarter of the way in on the third book I couldn't stand her. She was beyond naive. She was repeatedly reckless, placing herself and others at risk. Sorry didn't finish it.
Lucian and Eve make a powerful couple! This author has done a great job with the characters in her stories.. each and every one of them are powerful in their own way. The story it self is written with powerful word's that make you wonder could this be more than just make believe?
Was so excited to get The Devil's Soldier on it's release date and continue the story of Eve and Lucien, fighting to strip vampire Boaz of his total all domination bringing the Supernatural world exposure to the human race. Eve determined to defeat Boaz must face the power of Alarica and the contained powers held within the necklace without losing herself in the process, with the risk of all being lost to the hands of evil. Once again, Rachel McClellan pulls you in! Dare I hope for book #4!!
Boez is one crazy supernatural weirdo. He needs Eve so she can become this other craze Alarica. With Alarica his powers would be returned and he would be extremely powerful. But, at the point when he became whole, he could also be defeated. Henry, Eve and Lucien were the only ones who could defeat him.
Eve went to him willingly, as long as she could prevent others from dying, she willingly gave up. He put the necklace on her and she became the evil Alarica. Charlie probably saw all of this before it happened, but a lot he kept to himself.
Deception is key. Lies are told and friends are lost. Boez must have someone else with a lot of magic and power behind him. The new president maybe?? This final book, if it really is, will answer your questions. I enjoyed the characters and cried with the lost friends .

I was lucky enough to be gifted a copy of book 1 in the series, immediately making Rachel a 1-Click author when I finished “The Devils Angel”.
Boaz is back and has some new tricks up his sleeve to make sure Eve comes to him, so he can have Alarica back. But why would he want to deal with her after the first time he gave her the necklace, she nearly kill him?
Lucian, along with everyone else at the Deific will do anything to save Eve, including die for her, if necessary. They’ve fought Boaz before and failed. They must win at all costs, now that Boaz wants to “out” supernaturals to the world. Why on earth would he want to do that and can they stop him before he moves forward with his plan?
While many of the characters have already been well established, with an enhanced connection to the readers , Lucian and Eve become closer. Charlie plays a major role and the unique relationship he shares with Lucian is hilarious. Henry is another character who is more dominant in this story and it’s fun getting to learn more of him.
We are introduced to some new characters and get to know others that were mentioned in passing. Sable, Eve’s Mother is back , but seems to be playing both sides of the table. You won’t know if she can be trusted. An old friend of Eve’s returns, she too, is a witch. Captured and tortured by Boaz after he thought Eve was dead, she escapes, making her way to Eve. The timing seems odd, but Lucian is the only one who doesn’t seem to trust her fully, yet he soon comes to terms with Charlie being able to see the future and Eves sense of good and evil in people and she grows on him.
*** while this story is good, it was lacking in places the previous two weren’t. I can’t exactly put my finger on it - but many places were predictable, and others had no believability to them. A certain part of the story could have easily been changed to make the “vampire” more believable based on the extreme situation, what they are capable of and the choice not even being mentioned. Sorry for the vagueness but no spoilers! This was also a lengthy read and it seemed a lot of the same scenes played out over and over, as well as too much detail in areas that didn’t need it, while not enough focus in places I personally would have liked to know more about. For example, certain characters seemed to be brushed off, while several of the fight scenes were too long and repetitive.
** with that being said, I absolutely recommend this story! And I’m absolutely moving onto book 4 “The Devil”
